Given the sensational rate of growth we have experienced in the past couple of years we have been hiring highly skilled professionals from within the industry to better serve our customers. They are great additions to our winning national team.
Pauline Towey – Group H.R. Business Partner
Pauline joins the Essential Group of Companies as our new Group HR Business Partner and brings with her over 20 years experience and knowledge of our industry as well as extensive HR Strategy, Leadership and Management experience.
Pauline will be responsible for the implementation of our HR Strategy which will underpin the future growth and success of our company whilst developing the talent within our team.
Mark Barrett – Bench Technician
Mark joins the N.E. & Yorkshire Service team as Bench Technician. Mark has over 3 years experience in the industry.
Emily Hardy – Sales Operations Admin Assistant
Emily joins our Sales Operations Team as an Administrator to support the team.
Bryn Merchant – Trainee Service Engineer
Bryn joins the N.E. & Yorkshire Service team as Trainee Service Engineer.
New to the industry but has studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Ewan Fitzmaurice – Support Technician eRent & eDecon Services
Ewan joins us as Support Technician for the rapidly expanding Essential eRent & eDecon Services.
Ewan brings over 10 years experience in the industry and is a welcomed addition to the team.
Don Earley – Service Engineer
Don joins us as Service Engineer for the rapidly expanding North West Essential Servicing Team.
Don has 7 years industry experience in Servicing, Decontamination and Logistics,
43 years working for the same engineering firm.
Wayne Smith – Service Engineer
Wayne joins us as Service Engineer for the Southern region Servicing Team, and is a welcomed addition to the Team.
McKensy joins us as Service Schedule Administrator and we wish her well in her new role

Essential Healthcare as Logistics Technician/Driver. Always has a big smile for colleagues and customers. His favourite quote, is ”Live for today” Has a keen interest in F1 racing. Is a Star Wars fan and loves a Donna Kebab now and then. Welcome Jonathan!
Lesley joins us today as Clinical and Contracts Manager bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in both of these areas. Lesley first began her career nursing and still has an active PIN number. She moved into our industry as Clinical Nurse Advisor where she remained for 17 years before moving into Contract Management. Initially working 3 days a week Lesley will be responsible for driving forward clinical best practice whilst providing training and education within our contracted and key accounts. Working closely with the regional teams to ensure our contract management aligns with our customers objectives to ensure we establish long term partnerships with our key customers.
Chris Sims – Service Engineer
Chris officially joins Marks and the North West team on the 30th September as Service Engineer, however you will have seen him about as he has been at Head Office doing training for three days this week.
Chris began his career in Engineering before moving to join the Police Force where he stayed for 30 years and more recently worked as a Nationwide Handyman especially for the vulnerable and elderly.
Linda Newis – Cleaning & Decon Operative
Linda joins the team as Cleaning and Decon Operative
Linda is very creative and in her spare time enjoys upcycling old furniture
and making gifts.

Richard Baranski-Evans – Service Engineer
Richard joins the Southern team as Service Engineer and brings
with him over 7 years experience in the industry. in his spare time
he enjoys attending and promoting music events as well as travelling.
He will be scrambling Mount Snowden in February.
